Re-install XP, then download all the updates, install Mach2, if it
doesn't work - send it back - it's one of the few incompatible
systems.(along with dual processor machines ;)

Well, I tried manual installs (new hardware device) with both drivers after
stripping out the old and rebooting each time.
First attempt with the stock driver I went straight to Mach2 and got

RC7.2 online.
RC7.2 is online. It only address the spindle speed problem , seems to work
here fine, and a DXF problem. DXF was putting out 6 decimal places. Mach2
does not like more than 4. It can drop some kinds

What type of machining are you doing? if as your alias suggests you
are mainly into woodwork you might ask the other members if their CAM
systems cater for contour cutters to be fed into the edge

nice programs and I highly recommend them both. Dolphin Partmaster
