Why not temporarily uninstall your virus? software, load mach 4, check operating properly, and reinstall virus software...? Tamra?

It looks like my virus checker (Sophos) ?is quarantining the “ MACH 4 core.DLL” ?file. I’ve tried disabling my virus checker, and it continues to quarantine the file when I reload it.anybody

Mach4 error message
Hard drive crashed. Reinstalled Mach4 and upon loading any of the basic profiles, I get this message. “Could not initialize the core instance 0! rc = -17“ anybody have any suggestions? Thank

Definitely 5-axis. Does it have a tool changer? (curiousity question) Did this machine come with test files?Are you able to execute them? Are the test files readable gcode or are they unreadable

BTW, I think you do have to realize that your CNC 3040 may not end up being as good a deal as you thought. The Chinese are famous for copying (bugs and all) existing products without the background

It all depends on the objectives. If the quality of the motion control is a priority I would consider Mach4, UCCNC or LinuxCNC.? Upgrading to closed loop steppers may be a good thing. Arturo
