Echo/Parrot
I'm new to M17. I've just set up DroidStar for Android, and it works fine on DMR. So now I need to see if it works on M17.

--Is there an echo or parrot for M17?
--Is there a list of

Re: https://m17.club/ ?
It's not really a forum or anything like that, it's more of a landing page for a possible ARC in the future. This SIG/UG is a better platform for those wishing to keep in touch with the Project and

Re: Introduction
There was a talk about using Codec2 on D-STAR several years ago at the
TAPR DCC conference.? I have seen the Powerpoint slides for that talk.?
However, any further discussion seems to have stopped

Re: M17 (Wide Area) repeaters?
The RB board will work fine on M17, if you are running up to date
firmware.? I have one here that I use for M17Client, which has been
tested in my repeater setup.? Looks like the Bridgecom repeater

VK3RCQ is operational, around 10km east of Bendigo, Australia.
I run VK3RIR.? Currently on a dummy load until I get the antenna and

First I've heard of this.? I'll take a look, though if it's a web forum,
I'll find this list a better medium to work with.

Re: Messaging / Data
Appendix H in the spec defines KISS parameters and use in M17, which would give anyone interested in developing a TNC or program for M17 data a huge start.

The domain is held by the team, and was the beginning of efforts towards having an actual ARC aimed towards the proliferation of M17 and open source technologies for amateur radio.

Re: M17 (Wide Area) repeaters?
If the MMDVM firmware is version 1.6.0 or greater, I can guarantee it will work on a Bridgecom repeater. I have one at the lab that works flawlessly.

Re: M17 (Wide Area) repeaters?
Hi Steve,
Bridgecom sells an MMDVM upgrade for their repeaters that looks to be based on the same Repeaterbuilder MMDVM board I have been experimenting with. I can't confirm M17 runs on it, *yet* but

I support your idea, Steve. Voice repeaters are silent.... Data is the way
to go.
Adopting would be much easier if direwolf software could be used as a TNC
for M17 Packet mode. I already opened an

M17 (Wide Area) repeaters?
A primary reason that I consider M17 now viable is that it¡¯s possible to
build a repeater for use by M17.
I first realized that from this mention of building an MMDVM repeater,
