Good morning !?
? Thank you all for the help with the 680 knob.?
? Special shout out to Samuel for finding the 140 knobs on eBay. I messaged the seller and the knob is the one I needed for the 680.?
? It is a bit different than others so it was a great find indeed (see below)!?

73 everyone and enjoy the weekend… make some great contacts this weekend!?

Hi Frank,

?

I just downloaded the service manual from mods.dk and the part number for that knob is K29-3080-14.

?

Why don’t you give Kenwood spare parts a call and see if they have any in stock, if you haven’t already done so? You never know your luck.

?

Otherwise, I think others have pointed to knobs on eBay or elsewhere for the TS140S which has the same knobs as it is essentially the same radio except for the extra band.

Good afternoon!

?

? I appreciate everyone's effort to help me find the correct knob for this 680.

?

? The problem is that this stem from the pot does not protrude much past the face. As you see in the photos below most of the stem is below the face. I have knobs that are flush but there is not enough stem protruding for it to attach. I am assuming that the knob for this has a protruding stem of its own to reach the countersunk stem from the pot.?
