I just downloaded the service manual from mods.dk and the part number for that knob is K29-3080-14.
Why don’t you give Kenwood spare parts a call and see if they have any in stock,

Hmm… I agree the 140 and 680
are very similar radios. Perhaps these from the 140 might work. I sent the seller a message.
