Kevin is correct. You will either need a GPS or a RTC if not connected to the internet because the Pi doesn't have a RTC built in. A cheap/easy way is to share the GPS from your mobile phone

If you are not connecting to the network, you could set up an ntpd daemon (like the gpsd daemon) and have it pull the time from your GPS. (If you are using one. Another option is an inexpensive RTC

Thanks. Checked the pi config on the main menu. Time zone was off by one -EDT vs CDT. Still off by almost 35 hours. Found the ¡®sudo date -s ¡¡¯ command. That fixed it after reboot. Not sure how
