Re: Flash/Install issues
Yes, thanks! You might want to try the Raspberry Pi OS desktop for x86 PC and Mac. It will have the same layout as HamPi that way. Do you happen to have installer script for HamPi??

Re: Flash/Install issues
HamPi uses the latest Raspberry Pi OS as a base. There are two editions -- Raspberry Pi OS 32-bit and Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit. There are HamPis built for both editions. HamPC uses the latest Xubuntu,

Re: Flash/Install issues
Right, but what Linux operating system are you using? Raspbian make a Raspberry Pi desktop for PC and Mac, the link I sent.

Re: Flash/Install issues
HamPi and HamPC are two different operating system images. HamPi runs on the Raspberry Pi and HamPC runs on the x86 laptop or desktop system. dodge_ram_mopar_360@...> wrote:

I'll have to perform some research to find out just how to do that. I definitely don't want to leave out legacy devices! 73,

Is this Raspberry Pi desktop Debian Bullseye with Raspberry Pi Desktop? If not it may be better to use this image instead https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/rpd_x86/images/

Re: Flash/Install issues
You could create a Ham PC image that uses legacy Bios boot instead of UEFI. That way older PCs could be used. Get Outlook for Android<https://aka.ms/AAb9ysg> ________________________________ Sent:

Hi, Ok, we have some issues. Now that you've pointed them out, can you suggest a way to improve HamPC? Let's keep making the project better. This is a free, open-source project. How can you help

I tried to install with Balenaetcher and no luck, same with Win32imager and Ventoy. I did change boot priority to load USB first. It would be cool to see this run on PC! I think it would be

Balena Etcher (Win 10) worked for me as well with a thumb drive. I was also able to use Balena to install the image on the M.2 drive in a ThinkPad Yoga 370.? Boots and runs without issue.

In fact, Balena Etcher did the job. I just had the time to try my USB stick that I flashed this afternoon and it works. Many thanks, Dave, for this nice distribution. 73 Udo, HB9ERD Am 21.08.22 um
