Re: A good start
Walt, for those of us that have a hard time seeing those little screens, is
there an output for a signal display on a larger screen?

Re: A good start
Bill,
Yes, it can. It has eliminated several test instruments from my bench. It is a spectrum analyzer, RF signal generator (cw, am, fm), sweep generator and frequency generator. You can sweep filters

Re: A good start
Walt, congrats on the calibration.
Question since I'm new to these devices, can a TinySA, inject a signal into a tuned circuit on 2 meters to find out where its resonant ?
IOW, I have built a 2

Re: A good start
That is indeed a good start for the New Year. Am now back on track with the SR-150+ here and ready to restart the VFO and RIT/CAL checkout.
With just some preliminary testing it appears the receiver

A good start
Life is good.
Have an SR-500 on the work bench. I turned it on and set the dial to 7.175. Set the AF and RF gain to max and let it warm up. In the meantime, I unboxed my new TinySA ultra. Ureka, it

Re: Question for SX-122 Owners
Thanks to some timely and useful information from Dick, W7KDL, I did indeed have the Bandspread set wrong. ?I had the bandspread dial zeroed with the tuning cap at maximum instead of minimum. ?Once

Making good strides with mine, working some issues with alignment.? I'm wanting to know if the situation with the bandspread below is normal, or if I'm doing something wrong:

Re: CW Chirp
Well, it doesn't sound bad Jerry, but I do hear the pull of the CW note.
I presume you've tried different a oscillator tube?
Have you looked at the output at the vfo on a scope?

Re: 1648.550KHz LSB XTAL FOR SR2000
I looked into the Progrock2 for another project and you have to almost double that $18 for international shipping from Turkey. I don't think they have a domestic (US) shipping source.

Re: 1648.550KHz LSB XTAL FOR SR2000
Walt,
I have the same issue with my SR-2000, yet for me it is the USB carrier
crystal. After receiving a couple of USB replacement crystals and finding
that they too were too far out of spec, I

Re: Missing Crystals in the SR-150
Hi Dave
To get you into the ballpark, you could try an 11.52 MHz crystal from Mouser or Digikey.? It might oscillate at its 3rd harmonic.? Also, try Netty Electronics.

Missing Crystals in the SR-150

Does anyone have a source for crystals for the SR - 150?
*As seen in the recent picture the xtal in the first 10-meter band slot is
wrong. It is a 3.5MHz xtal and should be
