Re: Capacitor testing
Thanks Bill, whenever I post it's to everyone or I'd go direct.
You're ideas are interesting but it raises another question for me:
you're checking them in-circuit, not removing them, correct? And

Re: Capacitor testing
I do not know if this is addressed to the group but here is my 2 cents. I
never really bother to check capacitors
except visually looking for obvious damage. If that was OK, and something

Capacitor testing
What are you using when testing: ESR meter, capacitance meter, or?
What are your standards/values for replacement?
Thanks,

The other group
I haven't been around the group long, so I know nothing about people
who have ripped-off members. If we can't discuss such things in that
group we're dooming new members to make the same mistakes.

Gene,
Don't ask me how, but I was able to get the SX-122 file off BAMA
after much trial and effort and don't ask how I did it because I
cannot remember. Just dumb luck.
I will forward it to you

If you want to pay postage, I'll send you a new 3-wire cord. I placed a bid of $3.75 at a local college surplus sale and got 50 of the cords - new in sealed bags. I'll need an address

Hi Tom and Welcome. I get all of my filter caps (and all other caps) from Justradios.com. His prices are competative and his product solid. He usually ships quickly and will take PayPal for payment.

Does anyone know if the S-19R knobs, our featured product of the
