As Ed stated the most common cause for the calibrator failure is the function switch.?
I would clean the switch, clean the pins and sockets of SO2 if still not working check the voltage at the pin 2 of plug SO2. It should be 150v when the calibrator is turned on.
Next connect a scope to the antenna terminal turn the calibrator on and check for any signal. Adjust C301 both ways to see if the oscillator will snap on.
That is all of the easy ones.?
