I don't remember, and can not find It written down, what is the capacitance range of each section?
I have kind of lost track on this topic, but if you have not found an exact replacement, try some of the Collins sources. They used the exact same part.

There is no room to move the cap to line up. It would stick out of the PA cabinet.? ?Any lower and it his the Tune cap. Its really tight in there Walt.? I will figure something out!? We must save this thing.

Have you looked at the possibility of moving the mounting holes of the U bracket the capacitor is mounted. Or making a new bracket to align the shafts.

How about a piece of 1/2 plastic rod, drill a 1/4" hole down the middle, slice off a couple sections and sleeve them on to the two shafts. Then run an O ring as a belt like Heathkit did on the HW 101?
