Re: Distribution divider/amplifier for 10MHz GPSDO
I have had good luck with DEMI, Distribution Amp. Available assembled or in kit. Runs my HP Equipment just fine. Tnx Rich KQ6EF

Jim,
I, too, would be interested in a copy of your spreadsheet.
I have a T-200/500 kit and have been trying to obtain a copy of the general instructions for the kit for some time. I believe the

Re: Distribution divider/amplifier for 10MHz GPSDO
We used these at the TV stations that I worked for.
The inputs "loop through".
There is only one output from the amplifier, it goes to eight BNC connectors with a 75 Ohm isolating resistor between the

Re: 8340A Fault - ADC
Hi Calvin
unfortunately, I've got no 8340 to offer. However, I have a large collection of old and obsolete ICs.
If you tell me what you need, I can have a look.
The 7533 is available from Maxim, the

You guys are awesome!!!I will carefully read the ADC's datasheet to see if there is any viable substitute for it. My repair stories so far is always in RF and pure analog path. This is certainly a

Re: Distribution divider/amplifier for 10MHz GPSDO
Be careful with the amplifier you pick up. Early on I had the same idea and bought a cheap Asian unit and found out that it only had enough BW for a 6-7 MHz B/W video signal. Another thing to consider

If this is for routine use to have all the gear synchronized and show consistent frequencies, then you don't need anything fancy. Pick the reference output from one of the instruments, that seems the

I'm using a 75Ω video distribution amp, works just fine. $10 for 6 inputs,

using the second port on the first one to feed amp

Re: Distribution divider/amplifier for 10MHz GPSDO
I have heard that a popular solution is to use inexpensive video
distribution amplifiers after changing the terminations from 75 to 50 ohms.
This is what I was planning to do as well.

Re: 8566B PL1 Unlock, PL2 Unlock and Ref Unlock
This goes to show the importance of not relying on DC measurements alone - always check supplies with a scope if something is suspicious. Meter measurements alone won't show ripple and other flakiness
