Re: Service manuals needed
The HPJ from juni 1980 has an article about the 3850 which is from the same family. If I¡¯m correct the stations used the calculator chip from the HP45. -Rik Verzonden: zaterdag 12 juni 2021 08:45

Gordon, I would chime in praising these instruments, also having one of these beautifully constructed 3810 Total Stations. Brought it over from the US many years ago in my hand luggage =D, hoping to

As I said previously, I think it was placed on there by the seller. If it is a dealer, it is probably an indication for them that it was sold and for the shipping department an OK to ship. 73 ¨C Mike

Re: HP 8558B spectrum analyzer plug-in rotary switch
The screws are the way to go. Sometimes you can find the contacts down in the box and sometimes you can't. I had an 8559 and an 8558 with not enough contacts to go around. I fixed the 8559 first with

Re: Meaning of red sticker on equipment
This is a low-frequency application, so phase matching isn't particularly important. But one thing to watch out for is two-lug vs. three-lug triaxial BNCs. -Dave

Re: Meaning of red sticker on equipment
I don't think so, I think they just need to be 3 lug. I haven't been able to get clear information as to whether there are different varieties of 3 lug. I was hoping to get 4 of the same cable (1.5m,

Re: Meaning of red sticker on equipment
You might look at some keithley auctions. I know they use triaxial cables for some applications. Not sure if they would be compatible. Anything special about the cables (equal phase, et )? Cheers!

Re: Meaning of red sticker on equipment
I took a look inside and it appears to be very simple; just connections and switches. Yeah... still holding off the find a good deal on the triaxials. If anyone has 4 they're looking to part with, you
