I use strikers to determine equipment status ?so

Red???????? Does not power up

Amber ??Powers up but has issues

Green? ??Powers up and All OK

?

This helps when you want to grab equipment to do a job

As I said previously, I think it was placed on there by the seller. If it is a dealer, it is probably an indication for them that it was sold and for the shipping department an OK to ship. 73 ¨C Mike

artifact. I've bought stuff at aerospace auctions and noticed that
many of the items had red stickers on them - the accompanying tags
often said something like surplus item from ..... project (or similar
comments).

Unfortunately I neither have the triaxial cables yet nor the 4145A, otherwise I would have done exactly that.

As to the red sticker. It wasn't in the listing so it must have been added by the seller, or the seller sent me a different unit than the one listed. I'm inclined to believe it's the former, because the unit looks similar enough to what was presented in the listing.
