I had trouble with the SCSI2SD v6 in both a 16702A and a 16702B.? Inertial Computing couldn't really figure it out either.? I finally tracked it down to the SCSI2SD couldn't be on the same SCSI

A 16600 series should be easy to open. Two T-10 screws on the top edge of the case on the back, plus two T-15 screws holding the carry handle on the side. Then the case should just slide off
