Re: My $25 "In Poor Shape" 3468A has arrived
Any of you guys ever tried one of those test lead sets that have interchangeable tips? I think they are/where US made and from the 70s or 80s. I remember my brand new 3476A DMM back in the 70s came

I was asking about impedance measurements some time ago and mentioned Microwave Properties North, a local business. The link I gave was an old one because the site was down. It is now repaired and for

Re: 8753ES progress(?)
Peter, On my 8753D, you need to add "[Meas], ANALOG IN"? after the "MORE, REAL".? The "[numeric input], [x1]" then selects whatever analog input is desired. I think they just got the command

Re: HP8562A firmware
Hi Yes, its 27C512 if you have the 6 eprom version. I think there is newer version of the cpu board that only have 4 eproms, so check. It is also advised to replace the eeprom, if its the original

Re: 11713A attenuator driver modification for 15V and 5V
The "drive" to the attenuators is just open collector transistors switching to ground. the posiitve supply goes to the common This is pin 1 on the viking connector. To use on other voltages just

Re: LCR meter advice
GR 1693 works from 12Hz to 200kHz. It is still being manufactured, BTW: https://www.ietlabs.com/1693.html I have two of those (one original GR and one later Quadtech unit with switchmode power supply)

Re: 11713A attenuator driver modification for 15V and 5V
Thanks for answer. Having a look at the real manual (the old one, not the one on the Keysight's web site without schematics) and at the drivers board, I find it is not easy as the 2V is not only used

Sorry, ... kind of obvious: ?the GR 1693 is limited to 10 KHz measurements, ? ?assuming higher frequency HP / Agilent units trump this aspect.

I have the one without the integrated S parameter box, and yes I¡¯m feeding some of the output back to the R input. Definitely an internal problem. Peter

Re: 8753ES progress(?)
I assume this has the integrated s-parameter box? If not, put a power splitter on the source out and drive the R & A channels. That message occurs in these beasts when the R channel has no input. Jeff

11713A attenuator driver modification for 15V and 5V
