I want to publicly thank Cary Oler for putting together a slick data
logging and graphing application that I find highly useful and you may
too. It runs under Windows 7 & Windows 10 (and probably
others), using the TelNet connection for data logging and live graphing.
As one example, I have his data logger running continuously, reading the
voltage on my solar power batteries via my KISS-488 and the rear
terminals of my HP34401A, and displaying a continuous one-day graph. He
has generously provided it for all KISS-488 users at
. This nicely complements the
logging and graphing capabilities within KISS-488; the PC application
provides a live graph with much prettier formatting; KISS-488 does only
offline graphing, but is platform-independent. Below is a sample display,
as of right now.
Also, if you have a KISS-488, or know someone who does, you should have
just received an email with a firmware update. If you did not, it means I
don't have your email address, so please send me your address and the MAC
address of your unit in a direct email.
