The spam filter explanation is extremely likely - I fell prey to that recently. It's been the only issue in years of using their service, other than the unfortunate times when things were in flux due to obvious reasons. Since then, there's never been any issues with a manual delivery other than these prozaic ones (spam filter, etc), that are easy to eliminate.
I'm sure this just needs to be clarified, so probably contacting her by email would sort that out quickly.
