hello I have the 08753-60272 CPU in the 8720ES it is strange it boots partly but not the instrument part. But buttons work and it writes 8720on the screen. Where is the difference stored if it should be a 8720 or 8753 system. you know a setting where it can
be changed ?

From what I know the hardware from 8753E is close or the same as 8702E.
The 8720ES has different hardware. Some parts might be the same but
there are some differences.
The CPU card of the 8720ES I know it is the same as 8753ES and even the
part number of the board is 08753-60272.
I suppose the firmware is stored in the 2x 8Mbit Intel E28F800 flash
memory ICs near the Motorola CPU.
