Depending on which G2¡.the ¡°tall boys¡± did get cracks around motor socket connections on the PCB. ? Easily fixed.?
The mini¡¯s use a more readily available better DIN socket that¡¯s easily replaced.?
On G1s the pins inside the DIN can be pushed back to make better contact even placing a rubber type thin wedge behind the spring finger helps. ?The G1s can also get cracked detached pads from force of constant connections.?
The only fix is PCB thru hole rivets and pad repair. ?That¡¯s a very difficult job. ? This I do know.?
