Re: Meridian Flip
P.S.
There is also a built in serial command to do the meridian flip. Which is the MF# and MM#command.
This command is the same as in the Gemini 1

Re: Meridian Flip
Felipe
Since it is intended that the Gemini 2 will have all the features of the Gemini 1, I would expect it to also have the meridian flip command. The Gemini 1 already has a meridian Flip command.

Re: Meridian Flip
Hola Felipe,
Well what I am talking about is a complete different think as what you are asking.
You want to have an automatic meridian flip which could be invoked at a certain altitude angle which I

Re: Meridian Flip
Hi Floyd,
OK, I understand, but please understand that not everybody has CCD Auto Pilot for making a plate solve, not everybody has as well as The Sky Pro 6 and not everybody works with ASCOM, ? OK

Re: Meridian Flip
I just let CCDAutoPilot Plate solve after the flip, using Pinpoint and The Sky 6 Pro, it then is right on targer. But, I never really have any issue after a flip finding a star or object.

Re: Meridian Flip
Hi,
Well I would say, please try the following:
Get a star in a position with which you can do a Meridian Flip. Do an additional align ... then do a Meridian Flip ... after the Meridian Flip center

I was surprised that you asked that question given your long history with this mount, the short answer is that Gemini does know which star you did a flip on, this is demonstrated by the
