Ron Muscella
Duane,
Yes.....there is something as an alternative that may work for you,
...you can make your own quark.
The German quark is the most popular.

I finally had to quit. Is there any other substance that is non dairy that would work in place of the cottage cheese?? Thanks, Duane

The link isn't functioning, I would have to type it all in. Is this quark completely dairy free??

Quark is made from milk, just as is cottage cheese. There really isn't anything else that has the properties to convert the oil in flax oil to be water soluable so the cells can better absorb it. I have read of some people who are lactose intolerant having better luck making the cottage cheese from goats milk rather than cows milk, but I have no personal experience there. Yes, this is a great idea,?many people who are intolerant to?cows milk can tolerate goats milk just fine.? If you don't want to go to the trouble to make it yourself you could perhaps buy some goats milk yogurt and try that.? If the moisture content is too high you could try putting it in cheesecloth or a very fine filter such as a coffee filter and letting it drain for 12 hours or so. Shalom? Duane, If the problem is specifically lactose intolerance, you can solve it by? removing the lactose from the milk.? You do this by FERMENTING MILK.? Make your own YOGURT or, even better, KEFIR.? DRAIN the yogurt or kefir in cheesecloth (or equivalent).? The result will be yogurt or kefir cheese that has no lactose.? There are many youtube videos about doing this. Rahel Jerusalem On Tue, May 30, 2023 at 4:19?AM Dean <acudean5@...> wrote:

As time has went by, more and more foods are indigestible?for me. It's an auto immune reaction. I was successfully eating gluten free bread until I could no longer tolerate that. Its more than the lactose. The milk protein casein causes a auto immune reaction too, so there's very little in any dairy that I can tolerate. I did get an awesome reply from one of our experts that indicates just by consuming the flax seed oil by itself should be beneficial. I'm down to only eating vegetables, fruit and meat. Thanks, Duane

The body doesn't digest the oil well on it's own. The reason for the cottage cheese/quark is that when blended with the oil, the oil becomes water soluable so the cells can absorb it. Dr. B referenced oil alone as in a salad dressing and that the body could only digest 1 to 2 tbls in a day without the cottage cheese to emulsify it. Not saying flax oil alone would not be useful at all, but it isn't that same "medicine" and I wouldn't expect the same result. She addressed this, back then. There is a FAQ on this site that I wanted to quote but you need to pay them now to read the FAQ's so I didn't get there. http://www.healingcancernaturally.com/ Unfortunate that they decided to charge to see all the FAQ's, but it might be worth the $9.95 for some as there is a lot there. I know several people who had multiple food allergies,?found?that they could eat fewer and fewer foods, and then used homeopathy to heal their gut. The GAPS diet may alternatively/ also be of use? On Wed, May 31, 2023 at 1:20?AM Rod Holmgren via <s4sindus=[email protected]> wrote:

I understand that the protein level in quark etc needs to be 10% or more for the mix to work best. See nutrition info. part of label (UK foods).

What about goat milk kefir, something like Red Hill Farm brand, would that be acceptable to use? It comes plain and a berry blend I've seen.? Thank you = ) |
To quote Dr. Budwig from her book "Cancer The Problem And The Solution "? It would be worth you finding of source of raw milk as it contains the enzyme lactase. ?In general this enzyme helps people with lactose intolerance. |
