Flaseed turns like butter?

Miz Judy & Mel

开云体育

Not just prolonged exposure to heat, but even prolonged rough handling of the oil, continued shaking of the container can degrade flax oil.?? ?John. What will rough handling cause the flaxseed oil to do? I was reading we are to what turn it upside down, let the L's distribute around to their proper place, every time we use the bottle of oil..Now wait here I'm lost again., If I do this every time I use the oil, then this will what make it to think, or not thick enough, or the chemicals change, what happens. And scientific I'm not so use codes, but English here please to explain this to me and others reading this.
?
See cream from the cow..if we shake it to much each time we use it, turns to butter. Let me give you an example. We bought a pint of cream to use in daily food. I was also using it in tea and coffee. I kept noticing each time I took it out to put it was getting thicker. I investigated, thinking maybe it was going sour. But when I opened the container..WOW ! I had the evening butter ready for the breads I was serving as well. So then is this the way flaxseed oil reacts when it is turned and shook to often?

Oil for

In comparison you mean?..like watermelon is watermelon, so is flaxseed oil, flaxseed oil; and.. the taste will very slightly? Do you suppose this is because of the seasons it is growing and harvested in? Or the temperature of the day in the factory it is cold pressed in, or etc. Hey this gal has as many questions as the rest of you..I'm learning too you know? And I want the answers as much as anyone, because I've been telling my friend Lawrence about the value of using it. In hopes in time it will be healing for his lungs too, that orka/ chemicals have ruined, from the job he has done for them in many years..bugging barns of insects. His doctor is very upset with the Company for allowing employees to wear the wrong mask that they have furnished. They might as well have?taken their helpers out and shoot them..after they have made them a few fast millions of dollars that is first. Hey you never hardly see one of their bosses out chemicalizing..they know better than to go out on a job. And when in training new people to work for them, they send out another employee to be the teacher. I have an idea Lawrence, through his doctor are going?to sue big-time.The Company now is learning the hard way, that this one chemical could have been substituted, for another, but they insisted he keep on using it this last year anyway..( when I find out the name of it,?I will let you know) I wanted Lawrence to write his story,?but? right now he is in so much misery to do so.) He goes in for more test next week.
?
Every bottle of flax oil I ever had tasted slightly like watermelon.? Always
the same.? That's how I convince other people they should chug-a-lug it.

Your concerns are valid.? I had a warehousing business in Dallas.? The warehouse gets hot but nothing compared to the NON INSULATED,?SEALED metal trailer the product is shipped in.?A day or two of this type heat will compromise many products.?Some companies load?trailers and move them?to an area where a trucker will pick them?up?later.???After making the trip to the destination the?trailer may then be dropped at a yard to be unloaded later.? The product?has the possibility of?staying in the trailer a very long time.
?
Many products are moved on?REFRIGERATED?trailers.??I don't understand why Barlean's does not use them.??

The Barlean's oil has the dates on the bottles on which it was processed, so you can easily tell if it is fresh.
?
As to getting your oil delivered unrefrigerated from Barleans, sorry to inform you?the health food stores do also.? The oil is shipped by trucks that are NOT refrigerated.? I talked to Barleans about that and they assured me that the refrigeration is mainly necessary AFTER the bottle is originally opened.? With the oil they ship being so fresh, immediate refrigeration isn't necessary after bottling.
?
My concern now only revolves around shipments here to Texas during the summer.?? We sometimes have weeks when the daytime temperatures are above 100 degrees and, unlike elsewhere, it doesn't cool down that much at night.? Those warehouses of the shippers aren't air conditioned, so if the?oil?isn't delivered immediately, it?may have seen 24 hours at 100+ degrees.? However, once again, the same thing holds true for the oil bought in the health food stores.? The oil is only refrigerated after delivery to the stores.? I usually buy in smaller quantities, 2 qts. per order, during the summer to counter the possibilities of that risk.

Please phone Barleans and ask these questions about the flaxseed oil..I know they tell us that they are sending out fresh to us..but again I wonder how long it has been sitting before the postman or ups gets it to us..and if they keep it cold, or the store house is much to warm. Some of our stores around here carry the Barlean products, and most of the time it is refrigerated when we pick it up from them. If we send by mail, I have no idea what I'm getting. But Leah phone then early and also write them an email..then let us al know what their answer will be. If you can't get through to them I will see what I can do Monday for you in getting an answer.Chances are someone else on this list will have an logical answer for you already.

I bought 50 lbs of Golden flaxseed, for $24, shipping was $20 so it
cost
about a Dollar a pound. We grind it and put it in food and in baked
stuff
and gave some to the man we get our eggs from for his chickens, The eggs
have orange- not yellow yolks, and give some to friends. The brown
flax
is $12 for 50 lbs in MN.

We make Oatmeal/flax/banana cookies - no white flour no sugar. And put
in Real whole rye flour and flax ground in place of the whole wheat flour
in
pancakes-

I am looking for a small press to make my own fresh oil from the seeds-
BUT
have not found one.

I only have skin cancer for 30 years- kept in check with Ascorbic Acid.

Best Regards, Lorenzo

Not just prolonged exposure to heat, but even prolonged rough handling of the oil, continued shaking of the container can degrade flax oil.
There is no excuse for not shipping the flax oil in refrigerated trucks.? Refrigeration is expensive.? But it seems to me that 99% of the people that buy flax oil from Barleans and other fine suppliers, would be willing to pay an extra 50 cents to have their oil refrigerated throughout the cycle from the original source, in transit,?and in the markets.
I've also been using hemp oil from Spectrum, now that it's organic.? Erasmus recommends its use after a long period on flax oil, because, as he says, flax is so high in Om 3s, that it can actually cause an imbalance.? Hemp oil, has a ratio of 3 parts Om 6 to 1 part Om 3, if my memory is correct.? Not ideal, but close to it.
I buy an 8 oz container of hemp oil, and an 8 oz container of flax, put them both in the freezer, and alternate my use of them, which I'm assuming gives approximately a ratio of 2 parts Om6 to 1 part Om 3, and that's close enough to ideal for me.

Does flax/cc help with Graves disease? thanks Kim
Hi Kim,

Flaxseed; ground or the oil supplies the EFA Omega 3--which is hard to get
in our present food supply-- So it helps the whole person to better health,
and that should or could help any ailment.

Omega 3 is also in canned Salmon, Sardines, Venison
and in Grass fed Beef (not grain fed Beef) and real farm chickens and
eggs, not in market eggs, then a little is in vegetables especially green
leaves.

Flax is the lowest cost source.

If prevention is your aim, you may want to consider using ground flax seed. It offers you more of the benefits of the flax seed, and less hassle. There are many uses which can be very savory and you need not be limited to fso/cc. For more information, visit our website, .

Lorie, there's a really good shake you can make with the flax-oil and cottage cheese. I make it every day for my daughter after school. Here's what we do;
Mix in a large glass the following ingredients with a hand held blender type thing that you get at any discount store for under $20.00.
1 or 2 Tablespoons flax oil
1/4 or 1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 banana or any other fruit you like
1 drop of honey
cherry cider or grape juice or whatever you prefer
?
Blend all for about a minute, and drink it right away.
?
Hope this helps!

Hi I have just recently started on FSO and use it as a preventative,?and for the many healing properties therein.I know that I have the impression from many of you that you use cottage cheese to mix it with. Well, I have tried it about 4 times now and each time it makes me gag! I can hardly finish it, I just cannot do it with CC! I have been mixing it with yogurt, as I have seen some of you use, is this acceptable? Also, I plan to buy some of the companion nutrients as soon as I'm able. I understand that it must be mixed very good, is stirring well with a spoon good enough generally, or do I need to blend it ? Thanks, Lorie

For you that have wrote me, and?asking how to get over to the new Flaxseed list; ?go to number 5, to ?the FlazseedOil2, listed below. Now you might have to reply back a letter when Yahoo sends your confirmation. If you have problems getting in. It will be up to Cliff to help you?.. when he gets back home in a few days.??Keep in mind that the Old list, doesn't have a owner. and it has caused some problems. Cliff now invites all of you to use the New list, where he is now able to control it.
?

Also take the time to read the Prophecy Web, that Cliff and I set up below. We will be revising? ( editing ) as we go along. I can't edit it now until I get permission from Cliff to do so. But I'm sure over the next few weeks we will be adjusting things.? And maybe setting in another page where we can have question and answering. Some people are wondering if we could set up a page for Bible Study. I am giving this some great thought. If you have questions please write me privately.
