I bought 50 lbs of Golden flaxseed, for $24, shipping was $20 so it cost
about a Dollar a pound. We grind it and put it in food and in baked stuff
and gave some to the man we get our eggs from for his chickens, The eggs
have orange- not yellow yolks, and give some to friends. The brown flax
is $12 for 50 lbs in MN.
We make Oatmeal/flax/banana cookies - no white flour no sugar. And put
in Real whole rye flour and flax ground in place of the whole wheat flour in
pancakes-
I am looking for a small press to make my own fresh oil from the seeds- BUT
have not found one.
I only have skin cancer for 30 years- kept in check with Ascorbic Acid.
