Any pics? I ¡°fixed¡± mine by buying another $160 lcd module... but I don¡¯t think I threw away the ¡°bad¡± one as I have two 857¡¯s and you never know when you will not be able to get parts.

I had this same issue with a Kenwood. I was able to fix it by using Deoxit on the fuse prongs and the holder sockets. Otherwise, just cut them off and replace them. They are not really defective, just

Carl, Remove both fuses, thoroughly clean the contact surfaces on both fuse ends, and the fuse holder contacts with an abrasive cloth then reassemble.? It is very common for in-line fuses to develop

Call the Ca number.Pull the fuses and clean them. Sand the contacts. Put a jumper across the fuse and try the radio bypassing the fuses and see what the voltage is.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy

It might be worth putting a volt-meter across each fuse-holder to check for a posible voltage drop across the fuse and/or holder . Stu (G3OCR)

Check the fuses in the fuse holders?Also use a volt meter to check the voltage at the power supply when idle and under load. Double check all connections. Yaesu also has Tech Support in Ca. Not sure
