A couple clues you mentioned¡ ? S meter at S9+++ might indicate that the RF Gain is turned down. ?RF gain shares the squelch knob.? You also might try downloading the ARCP 480 remote control program and get yourself (or borrow) a USB-RS232 cable (RT Systems version always works¡Cheaper versions found on Amazon or Ebay might not.) ?
