There is a menu setting for "Remote" mic. It may be set to the regular "non" DTFM mic.

Also done a complete factory reset
Humm semi stuck button? ?doubt it as it was the same with a completely
different head and my head works ok on another radio
Also? tried grounding out and completely disconnecting every thing
No? morse key
Beep is the same? ? ?..
it is strange that the power button works on both the radio and the hand mic
but the up/down buttons on the mic dont work? .
?it is a good one? ?to say the least? guess i will have to have the boards out
?and have a good look under the magnified light? ?
