Any one know of a Henry Daniel born about 1815 in North Carolina who moved to Marengo County., Ala about 1835. Wife named on the 1850 census is Martha, however he may have had a prior wife.

Thanks. There are several Chisley/Chesley Daniel in my line. One of them had a position in the militia and was stationed in Mecklenburg County. He died in 1820.

No…I do not descend from Josiah Daniel of Granville Co., NC. My Martin Daniel Sr (ca 1750-1811) never left Mecklenburg Co., VA and neither did his son Martin Daniel Jr (ca 1790-ca 1844)
