Re: Dick Cooper Time Book - 1980s

Ray and others,

I was never qualified south of Binghamton, but during my tenure on the D&H under CP (2000-2014) I recall there was a Saratoga to someplace south of Binghamton crew pool agreement for an intermodal train run.? Not sure if that was ever used.? My best similar run was 240 miles from Kenwood to Montreal with an empty unit oil train on all green signals, except for a brief stop for a southbound at Bluff Point (7:20 on duty).

May it be assumed that your dad marked on at Whitehall (or perhaps Oneonta) this day for this run to Hudson Yard? Thanks for the additional factoid.

Bob,

My brother has a photo of him leaning on the front side of a K-28. Either the 473 or 478, but I can't remember which one. He is obviously dressed for work.
