Re: MX800 Repeater
What you have currently with the Dinah using it with a transceiver it plugs into you can then run a remote mode tuned to the repeater frequency Les Keegan N4LPK

Re: MX800 Repeater
I do not believe DINAH has the flexibilty you would need to connect directly to your MX800 as it does not feature a standard "packet" interf ace which has standardized analog levels ind digital

Re: How do I setup the Kenwood TM-V7 with DINAH?
In addition to that, if the TM-V7 is like the TM-D700 (same vintage) then you can't make the DIN port follow squelch instead of carrier, meaning anything can make COS go high, regardless of the state

Re: How do I setup the Kenwood TM-V7 with DINAH?
The 6 pin miniDIN connector is on the front panel at the end of a round hole.? The overmold on the cable we provide is not round to a deep enough depth so you have to carefuly shave off overmold

Re: How do I setup the Kenwood TM-V7 with DINAH?
I believe the V7 has a 6pin mini din plug on it. If it does then yes it does. The 6 pin mini din maybe behind a front panel. Not sure as Kenwood did that on some of their older model dual bands. Les

Re: DINAH-C not recognized by computer
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it does not appear under Hardware > USB when connected to my MacBook Pro with Apple USB-C to USB-C cable. The only entries are USB 3.0 Bus and USB 3.1 Bus.

Re: DINAH-C not recognized by computer
Connected to a Mac, it should appear in System Information under Hardware > USB as "USB Audio Device", where you should see information about the C-Media chip. That's what I see on my MacBook Air

DINAH-C not recognized by computer
My new DINAH-C (assembled from kit) is not seen by Windows computer (connected with USB-C to USB-A cable) or by Mac (connected with Apple USB-C to USB-C cable). Am I missing something obvious?
