A couple weeks ago I started having issues with garbled audio.? I have 2 DINAH on 1 system. I have a PAUL and finally was motivated to connect it and has the same issue.
?
Good news is, it¡¯s not the DINAH or the computer.
?
If you are running allstarlink ASL3 on a PC, the most recent updated kernel is distorting audio.
The team is aware of it and the workaround for now is to pin the previous kernel for now.

ALLSTARLINK V3 USERS PLEASE READ
The stock kernel released with Debian Bookworm 12.9 introduces some audio problems with AllStarLink3/app_rpt. You will experience this problem in the following configuration:
- Asterisk/app_rpt is running on an amd64/x86_64 platform
- Asterisk/app_rpt is running on physical PC hardware (Raspberry Pis not affected!)
- The package?linux-image-6.1.0-29-amd64?or?linux-image-6.1.0-30-amd64?is installed
?
To temporarily address the issue until a permanent fix can be identified, please apply the following hotfix to your system:
?
wget -O- | sudo bash -x
?
Follow all on-screen directions as needed. Reboot at the completion.
?
?
This does not affect pi.
