New to this group -- are there any users of the Anytone AT778UV?? I have one specific question at the moment:? Is there any way to separately access and program the A and B memory banks in CHIRP?? My objective is to put all the 2 meter repeaters in the A bank and the 440 repeaters in the B bank.? Is that possible?
This radio only has a single bank of 200 memories. What you are referring to are the A and B display lines, not "banks". Like most Chinese radios, there is nothing provided in the radio for separating the memories by display line. The best you can do would be something like programming VHF frequencies into memories 1-100 and UHF frequencies into memories 101-200. Then only select memories 1-100 in the top (A) display line and memories 101-200 in the bottom (B) display line.
