Re: Leni conversion #3
Ok,? Help ! :)? ? ?I installed a generic transformer I had gotten from Lenox 2 years ago on my first LENi project - it fixed my other Leni.? ?I now have a happily buzzing transformer.? I still

Re: Leni conversion #3
That sounds reasonable MichaelC. It shouldn't even matter if the pins come out in different places, as long as they are for the same function. Some really old ones like Anton and another one I forgot

Re: Leni conversion #3
looking at the various CDV700 schematics, it looks like the T1 transformer (T2 in Victoreen) all do the same thing, same windings.? Therefore, the transformers should be functionally equivalent and

Re: Leni conversion #3
I received 3 transformers from ebay, was out of town, and finally able to do basic check on them.? ?Seems all three of them are basically measuring very high resistance (around 7 - 8 kohms) on pins

Built a smaller version tonight after dinner. Installed it inside a CDV700 6a. Used a magnetic reed switch to turn it on and off. https://youtu.be/QQ1TAKS_nbc the steel ball bearing I am holding in my

Re: simple pulse ( could be integrated into a CDV700 xx)
errata: if Vcc is dropped to 2.4~ 2.5V, the TL1431 started to get noisy. I had forgotten to add a cap for the power rail. 10uF seems to fix the stability. Zener wasn't affected. 2.4V zener seems very

simple pulse ( could be integrated into a CDV700 xx)
Hi: Not a polished circuit, but I thought this might be of interest to the group. Attached is a circuit for a simple calibrator that can be integrated into a CDV-700. It was a pain to design simple

Re: Leni conversion #3
It was a few years ago when I last checked the resistance of the windings. Since I slept since then, I forgot what they were! The transformer resistances in the circuit are in the shop manual.
