Re: Main Tuning Encoder Noise

Hi Dave,
It sounds more synthesizer noise, It's really noticeable if I disconnect the antenna and then tune across the band and it's most prevalent on the higher frequency bands like 20 meters and

Sbitx v2 noise on receive with antenna disconnected
3 things
1. With sbitx connected to antenna and transmit I have rf noise on transmit audio
2. If I have if gain turned up above 35 I get 2 rf spikes in the same spot on the display all bands
3. If I

I had a lot of trouble using an SD to microSD adapter. Once I got a usb
device with a microSD socket, it worked. I did use a 64gb card though.

Shirley,
I have read that there are ways to take an existing image and shrink it after it has been created.? That is done on a Linux OS, not a Windows.? I have not tried it.
I agree that it would

Could do that, but I'm reluctant to because I only have a couple of 64 GB

Does it sound like spike noise, like the synthesizer moving through frequency steps?? Capacitors across the encoder terminals wouldn't help that at all.? Or is it more like wideband noise?
