How to Type Lower Case from the Keyboard?

 

I am attempting to set up my zBitx password in order to be able
to have access to the radio from my home network.? My password
is all in lower case.? How can I get a lower case password into
the settings for the PIN or password please?

OK, update.
It might well be that the PI PICO2 might be the answer... It uses a somewhat faster processor, has twice the memory an twice the flash storage...

Its not a scam. DHL as a service provider does the tax declaration (and charge a fee for that), and they do it really fast.
If something is sent via postal services, the tax office charges a (smaller) fee, and it takes days if not weeks until it's cleared. You get what you pay for...

You will have to pay Import Taxes as well as Mehrwertstuer, plus a €20,- fee for DHL. In the netherlands its the same...
But you do not need an EORI number, just explain what the package is about: a privately used HF-transceiver.

It will set you back around €80,-...

Well, Joel, thats the question. My zbitx is rather deaf on the bands with IF set to 38. I need to set it above 70, and then the stations come in, but with that 5times per second sound from the screen refresh. Rather annoying. OK, with IF on 50 the annoying sound is almost gone, but it still leaves a rather deaf radio...

Because the external HDMI screen does not have this problem, we know its from the SPI-bus of the PI PICO . The PI Pico has not enough memory for a high speed full screen refresh. It can, within limits, refresh a part of the screen on a higher frequency, but still, it will be visual on the screen.

New encoder board arrived and installed within minutes. Great looking board and nice components and a perfect fit. What a pleasure to operate the radio now. Thank you Jeff and if anyone is thinking about an encoder problem, this is the place to go and get it fixed.

Zbitx Display Resolution

 

If I log into my zbitx using its IP address via nomachine with either a HDMI monitor attached? or no monitor attached I get full screen resolution. Nice.
But if I attach a dummy 4k HDMI adapter to the zbitx's HDMI port and log in with nonachine the resolution is the same as the internal display?
I would think that with the dummy adapter attached, the zbitx would view it as a real monitor but apparantly not.

if there’s no reference to your shipment awb number in the email, it’s most certainly a a scam.

I had an issue from costums because the invoice had 3 fields.
the from: hfsignals India,?
the ship to: my name and address to portugal.
and a billed to: ?hfsignals US address.
?
so I had to ask for a invoice without the billed to field, because we cannot have a triangular shipment.
shipping from India, delivered to Portugal, and Payed in the US…

I payed around 60€ in taxes and dhl fees,?
another fellow ham from Germany reported here to have payed around 40€.

Thanks, I set the mic gain to about 50 if I put it up to full the tx meter goes red but the red reduces suddenly when I reduce the gain but then I get no output on the meter?

I think it might be a scam cause it starts off saying there from the tax office and ends with dhl hub support. something doesn't sound right?

I avoid buying anything that is shipped by DHL or FEDup -? I write and ask for EMS and if they dont ship via EMS then I cancel.

I sometimes get scam calls and emails like this one... I never click on them.

In Germany, 19% VAT is payable on such imports. DHL charges the remaining amount as a fee for processing the import process.
