I noticed this a week ago and filed it as issue #27.
It is apparent if you center a CW signal in filter width at 2.5 kHz display width, the tone heard is the correct sidetone frequency

I have burned the image file onto a new card.? But how do I get to the old card to replace it?? I removed the four case mounting screws but there are three more nuts on the bottom metal

I am able to use grig to change the zbitx frequencies if I start grig with:
grig -m 2 -r 127.0.0.1:4532
so my optinion is that there is something missing from the zbitx hamlib.c
