You could back off to the analog VFO and play with that. ?Just stuff L4 and unplug the raduino. ?VFO tended to be a bit unstable, especially as the rig heats up some during transmit. ?Raj has several posts here about how to tame that.
Should be able to replace the Raduino in a few days if you get a Nano and 16x2 display (basic parallel version, not I2C) ?from some local shop like oddwires.com and an Si5351 breakout board from Etherkits or Adafruit, should be able to run the same sketches as the Raduino. ?I'd get the Raduino ordered from hfsignals @ gmail dot com also, just in case you have trouble with the separate parts. ?A great set of toys, and may be useful elsewhere in the shack. ?
