Re: KF8CEC¡¯s firmware question

Hello Mark, I¡¯ll have the whole Saturday off, maybe we can exchange ideas on how to make this work¡
I¡¯m working on a RFT SEG15D. That radio have it¡¯s own CW switching method, means when you select CW mode and press PTT it start to send code. It was designed for straight keys.?
But uBitx needs to be put on TX and use CW key to unbalance the first mixer.?
In my board I managed the 2 pulses on the same line with transistors on switching mode¡ so if I use a keyer, I¡¯ll have a continuous pulse (TX) plus a switched pulse (keyer) and the rig will see only a continuous pulse¡ I need to stop the Tx pulse on CW mode in order to use the keyer ( and of course stop shutting down those 2 oscillators that are down for CW originally)
That¡¯s basically what I need.
This is btw the second rig I modified. The original synthesizer is 50 years old technology and shows a lot of problems, no mention that is huge and allows to work from 1-11.999MHz¡?
Thanks for your reply?

There appears to be a bug in at least 1.2 that the "STOP function does not prohibit TX. This is true if you use STOP from the Nextion and also if you disable it via the Encoder ("Yellow Window") option that appears after you enable "Setup".. Perhaps not a bug, just never implemented.?

Perhaps some of the OM on this list have some history on that function?? If I get some time in the next couple days I will poke at it and see if I can at least fix this in V2 CEC.
