Re: Vacuum pump for sampling

"doh!"

That's what I say 20 times? a day,? Today it was looking when the shed project needed a piece of sheet metal sheared, and I could see the shear in the garage, but would have had to move the welder, band saw, tables saw and two cabinets to make a path to it! GGGrrrrrrrr.....

Wound up cutting the metal with a hand snips,? DOH!

But when the metal building is finished, this week we think, all will be better, every tool will have a permanent home.

Okay so I did bring my little Gast pump to Texas.? ?That's the good news.? ?The bad news is that the motor is 240vac.? And I haven't added the additional 240 outlets I need to for range,? tube furnace,? welder,? etc. next to the door where it's convenient.?

It's a Gast 0211-V87 pump.? So before I can even test it I need to either do some wiring or temp splice a dryer cord onto it to plug into my compressor outlet tucked way back in the corner behind the South Bend vertical mill.?
