I am frustrated trying to find software for the pickit-3 programmer that works with the ATU 100. I am trying to change 3 cells so that it works for QRP, my ATU works for power in the 10 watt and up range. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks, Paul K0ZYV.

I am still studying how to mount the ATU-100 Board in my Yaesu FT-897 Battery compartmemt. There are hole in the rear of the battery panel so I can mount the display and switches through these holes. The battery compartment is at the bottom of the radio. are there any issues mounting the ATU-100 upside down? Mike N2MS

I brought the atu-100ext assembled board from aliexpress, I swapped most of the caps for 750v silver mica types, I did not test the atu before doing this, Now on powering on the atu it all looks fine except it does not tune when i tx and the swr readout stays at 0.00 ,The period is displayed at the end of the top line on its oled so its in auto mode, Any ideas what to check?, Thanks+73.

first, tks to David for this great tuner and gift to the ham community! my simple question: "How long does it usually take to charge batteries in the ATU-10?" obviously, that would depend on the capacity 800mA vs 400mA, etc. tia for any 'cocktail napkin' estimate... i have read the github docs, but do not have experience with the usb charging chip and its capabilities...

hello group, i bought an ATU10 last month, rec'd it the other day and modified the FW to do 2 things: a) turn off automatic initiation of (re-)tuning b) decrease minimum power to initiate tuning from 1W to 0.2W i named the modified version 1.7 - just for now. i have a QRP Labs QMX+, max output power ~6W. i was trying out the modified ATU10 into a dummy load, and it was displaying 29W, 15W etc for power. i double checked that i hadn't changed any other fields in the hex file and i had not. here is the output of a unix 'diff' between the 1.6 on github and my 1.7 version. lars@njaastad:~/Documents/ham/ATU10$ diff ATU-10_FW_16.hex ATU-10_FW_17.hex 1199c1199 < :10EEE0000534303407341034153413340134043409 --- > :10EEE00005343034073402341534133400340434C7 lars@njaastad:~/Documents/ham/ATU10$ have i done something wrong? or is there a bug? or might i have a clone issue? any help greatly appreciated. regards lars / kn5ute.

Have an Moonraker GPA-80 w/ modified DIY Comet CHA250HB match (antenna) < ATU-500 (tuner) < RM Italy BLA350+ (amp) < Flexradio 5500M (rig). I am getting high SWR on the rig which is peaking the amp's input tripping its protection circuit. I've tested with other tuners where this doesn't happen. Is this a known issue? If so, is there a fix?

I want to install an ATU-100 in my Yaesu FT-857. Any experience with this vendor? One person stated it failed when running 100 watts but I run maximum 50 to 80 watts with 100 watt tuners. 73 Mike N2MS

i just realized i can upload an old version of firmware to see the splash screen change. it does. when i put my modified version on, it changes back. i am sure everythign is ok & no need to irritate readers with my ill-thought request!

I think there is a minimal power to get the ATU-10 running? but I dont know what that is. For example, will my FX-4CR running at 5 watts power the ATU-10 for tuning? or do I have to buy an Elecraft tuner that will operate in milliwatts?

Hello! What antenna are y'all using in the field with the ATU -10? I'd like to be active on 10-40, but 60-80 would be great too, even if not that efficiently. I have 2 poles, a Sotabeams tactical mini 6m and a Spiderbeam 12m HD. 73 de Nik SV1SYY

Just received this tuner from Amazon. I'm new to all things HF. My question concerning this ATU-10 is do I connect the radio to the 'In' or 'out' BNC? In my case it will be the FX-4CR. Also, if any know, please confirm the max watts for this tuner is 10 watts. So for using the 20 watt capable FX-4CR is it ok to crank down the power to say 5 watts and then press tune? Thanks for any clues. There were none in the box. Robert

Hi all, is there a version of ATU-10 firmware around that builds in MPLAB? I took some baby steps on this myself but the register configuration refactor has stalled me for now.
