Power Handling of AT-100 and AT-1000 Kits on FT8?
I asked this question before, and didn't receive any response! Commercially-available tuners such as the LDG and MFJ seriously de-rate their power handling when used on FT8 mode. The LDG RT100 (100 W

#ATU-10 10uH inductor alternative?
#ATU-10
I was perusing "Q-Curves for Iron Powder Cores" and noted that Mix #1 for the 10uH inductor had it's typical Q in the .15 to 3 MHz range. The actual measured Q examples (page 8), were for 100 turns on

Re: ATU-10 firmware update process
Marek When you plug your ATU-10 in a PC, window should pop up with a file in it "README.HTM".??? Don't bother to read it. You should have downloaded the V1.4 HEX file from David's Github page

I've used a hot air stripper to remove a PIC16F1938 and other soic chips when I wasn't happy with my part placement. I usually put some tin foil on top of the chip to deflect the heat away the body of

Re: ATU-10 has been released...boards
The TP4056 *is not glued down* in the normal sense. It has a solder 'paddle' under it, which is soldered down to the ground plane of the PCB. To remove the chip you will need a hot air gun with a
