yes,i am using it on my laptop,it freezez on my desktop,i downloaded the os and ticked the mclr box and set it to 5v but it says no device detected.

hi Paul, this Atu will be a bit like ATU-10. And power ist delivered through the programmer if you connect all 5 wires. You have to set the check at the GUI of PICkit like shown on the picture and
