Re: PHG setting

making things compact and simple, it's a code that approximates the
effective range of a station.

PHG setting
Good afternoon.
I was setting up a digi based on a RPI and was curious what the standard
is for specifying the antenna gain as part of the PHG. Is it Dbi or Dbd?
Thanks and 73,

Re: best settings using HF VARA
Good morning Rob,
Welcome to HF APRS. On the 30M band we set our Beacons to every 45Min or 60Min. Also the WIDE Path is not used. I am shure others that know more will chime in.

up to a radio and if so also a TNC.?
Apart from the general settings in APRSIS32, AFAIK it should function right

Re: dev version server
Possible suggestion for the future:
*IF* you use the GitHub repos, point the version check mechanic to yank a
version file from GitHub.
That way you don't have to worry about DNS changes because the

Re: dev version server
This is also spectrum and is wrong. The IP needs to be updated by DNS
before you can access the server behind our firewall.

Okay, this is helpful. I see that ldeffenb.dnsalias.net isn't resolving.
The IP did change at the house, so anyone know how to find out what DNS
service he was using? I need to make that work then
