Re: Caulking
When I removed my fantastic fan, I thought it was sitting on a very thick bed of caulk that I would have to remove.? As it turned out it was a thick gasket.? I really only needed to remove, clean,

Hi Gang: When we added a skylight to the front of our camper ( the best improvement ever! ) These were the steps we used: 1) Oak frame and trim for the inside. 2) Caulked the new skylight to roof

Re: Caulking
Steve, I agree with your analysis.? If it's never been removed, then the seal under the flange is a two part epoxy that Aliner uses.? I looked into it when I replaced mine, but it was not a cost

Re: Caulking
Carl, I was impressed with the Cap't's advertising, but it did not work on my skylight at all.? I don't think it was a failure in my application.? But maybe I had some cracks I couldn't see.?

Re: Caulking

Re: Caulking
Another trick you can use to find leaks is to sprinkle a small area that's lower down with the hose, then wait a while, and if no leak, move the hose higher up and sprinkle a new area, and keep

Re: Caulking
Thanks, Steve, for your suggestions on finding leaks. I've had a slow leak for a couple of years that I just can't find. The water appears through the hole that feeds wire to the light and fan. I've

Re: Caulking
Thank you for the hairdryer suggestion. I will definitely try that I actually do not see where it is leaking. After a rain, the strip of fabric that goes under the rear skylight is wet. Not dripping

Hello Rosy: Tell us more about your leak. Do you only notice it inside? Or can you see a gap outside? Unless you can get the caulk into the gap, on the surface it is really just a band aid. Sad that

I am sorry to ask a stupid question, but I am a new Aliner owner. I purchased a used 2019 Classic and have discovered a small leak. I was told it needs to be re-caulked around the skylights. My

I've got a bunch of comments on where this discussion is going: The victron 9 amp converter is not meant to charge batteries.? It's constant voltage. The Victron 10 amp charger is meant to charge
