Selling Price of Used Minilathe?

What would be good asking price for a well maintained ten year old 7x16 minilathe tooled up with all the standard chucks and tooling? Lathe looks great.
I was thinking maybe 50% of new?

Sound like HF.

Re: Grizzly is doing better - I hope!!!

However - the fine print says it is for items priced at or under $19.99.

Re: Grizzly is doing better - I hope!!!

The only stipulation is that it is for only 1 item.

Charles,

?

No.? It¡¯s far too hot for me in the California High Desert in the summer (and too cold at night in the winter), so I stay in Central Orange County where it is almost always very pleasant.? I still remember spending a weekend in the California High Desert (Joshua Tree National Park) in December some 60 years ago.? It was for a biology class, and I had to run a live-trap line in the snow at 2:00 AM.? The lubricants in my own joints started to freeze.? ????

I don't know where you guys live, but in my basement shop the temperature is constant within +/- 10 degree or so. My only environmental problem is humidity in the warmer months, which I keep at bay with a dehumidifier.

I have a mini-lathe, a mini-mill, an 11" Logan lathe, and a South Bend shaper. The shaper has a built-in oiling system (which was a pain to get right when I was restoring the shaper, but is nice to have now).?

On all of them I used to use cheaper stuff, but now I use Mobil Vactra #2. It's about $50 a gallon, but a gallon will last you for years, so why not use the best?

Re: Unwanted taper

I see find a video.
It works same as mill?
You put the coaxial indicator in chuck and use center as a part in mill.
The set screw on tail till coaxial indicator is zero.??

Dave?

Re: Unwanted taper

Your coaxial indicator has more uses on a mill than on a lathe.? I¡¯ve never seen one used on a lathe.? Would you mind creating a video to show us how you use it on the lathe, I think that¡¯s rather interesting.
