0.035" Blade Thickness
The standard blade thickness on the 4x6 bandsaw is 0.025". However, I have found a source of 64.5"x0.5" blades with a 0.035" thickness. Any pros/cons to consider in using a blade of this thickness?

Guide blocks on HF saw
The standard guide blocks on the "cheap" Delta band saw are hardened steel. The e-bay guide blocks replace these with cloth reinforced plastic. It is easier on the blades than hardened steel, but

Now that I've "tuned up" my saw using all the good info on this group, I want to go further. Will the guide blocks (as seen on u-buy, whoops, I mean e-bay) work on a Harbor Freight saw? It looks

Re: HF catalog number for 4x6???
I guess at $169 it would probably be wise to buy the Enco saw with a better motor for only $30 more. I need some drills from Enco so I might as well add the saw to the order.... But thanks anyway

Re: HF catalog number for 4x6???
It appears that you can't get it at that price anymore. Unless someone has a catalog with a lower price in it and shares the #'s I think you'll be stuck. <davidbhappy@y...> wrote: the the

New motor needed...
Hi guys, I just cooked my motor last night on my bandsaw. I've had it for over a year now so I think that's pretty good for the amount of cutting I do and how cheap the motor is. Here is my

New HF 4X6
Just put together my new Harbor Freight 4x6 saw, cut perfect on first cut, needs the rear vise jaw machined though. Threw away the tin legs, put it on a 36" high pipe frame...Bob
