Here's another one, but it's specialized for a particular weldment.?
I use it as a cutting jig in the band saw, a machining jig on the mill, and a setup jig for welding.

I have a Grizzly swivel-head band saw, so most angles are easy. Acute angles, it does not do well however.

I needed to cut a bunch of stainless tubing, at a 30 degree angle, so I built an angle jig out of some stuff laying around.
(See attached)
Easy to modify to fit the job.

Re: how to square vertical cutting table?

I have had good luck with brazing (silver soldering) but with the edges scarfed. I use a simple jig to keep the ends in place.?? I have only used to repair blades and also to shorten some long ones I was given. I can always hear the joint passing through the work because a couple of teeth need to be removed due to the scarfing overlap.

I buy the expensive blades from Harbor Freight and haven’t ever had an issue. ? It was convenient to buy them-I was in the store for something else. ?I bought a roll of blade and tried to weld my own by a but joint arc welder, but the weld joints would fail over time. ? I think the radius is too tight on the 4x6, for I use the same welder for my 14x8 vertical bandsaw with no issues.

I built my own hydraulic down feed and use a 10-14 TPI blade.

Re: Premium Group renewal fee is due this month

Rounding to the nearest dollar, I've got $115 left in my PayPal account for next year, $94 transferring to my bank to be applied to the credit card, and I decided I better only contribute $10, my self this year. Had an auto accident last week, totaled my new 2022 Hyundai Accent, and I'm once again housing my youngest child. Driving the old Chevy truck which gets 15.5mpg stings a lot worse than the 40mpg Accent. Had to fill the truck again today, half a tank was only $43, but last tank was $55.18, and the one before was $69.04. And all that was this past? week alone! Not to mention that the card I was going to charge the fee to seems to have gotten compromised. It got canceled this afternoon, so I've been juggling to get things paid properly. I was trying to avoid the problem of having to keep track of the the extra money, but it's actually a good problem to have, so I'll quit whining! ;)

We got a total of $208.40 in donations this year, which is nearly enough to cover a year, not counting my small contribution. Thank you to all who contributed, and I hope all of you who were not able to contribute for financial reasons are doing much better this time next year! Good luck, and God Bless!

Re: Premium Group renewal fee is due this month

Problem with new free groups is you can have a maximum of 100 members, IIRC. Over that, the group has a per-person charge per month and you have to go to a Premium group. I own a couple of free groups that were established before that rule change, so have more than 100 members, but new groups are more limited, IMO. My 3D printing group currently has 202 members, and is still free. You couldn't start a group like that and exceed 100 members now, but the older groups are grandfathered.

/static/pricing?

We had too many files and photos that I and others thought were worth preserving to go with the free group, and didn't get transferred from Yahoo in time to avoid the first price bump. 开云体育 had to massively upgrade their server farm to manage the rush when Yahoo notified everyone that they were dumping Yahoo Groups. Naturally, any business that wants to stay in business has to pass their increased costs on to the customers if they want to stay in business.?

If I were rich and famous, I'd establish an Enterprise group, and move all my groups to it. I'm retired now, and to do something like that I'd have to win big on the Lottery. Seems unlikely, since I don't buy lottery tickets. ;)

So far as I can tell, this is the best we can do unless we want to set up our own server.?
