Hi All
I have a Contarex version 1 - Bullseye, Cyclops depending on where you hail from that has a fault that causes it to hang in cold weather at all shutter speeds. I have serviced all my 3 lenses, and the parts of the camera's aperture gear train that can be reached from the front but it reverted.?
In order to further clean the shutter gears and various gear trains I need to get the top off but have no info or clues as to how to undo the wind-on stack. I believe there is a left hand thread at some stage and that I may have to make a tool for one of the rings but so far cannot find the info I need. I have ordered Tomosy's book, that apparently refers to this, but it has not arrived for a second time from Amazon and no tracking info available.
Any help or clues much appreciated.
