OK, first things first. I am using an FT-891 and saving for a 991a. The only thing I have to compare to is FLRig. With that said, I really like the graphical layout of YCAT & the analog gauges.
What I don't like so far (still evaluating, but I have purchased) is my mouse wheel doesn't work on all sliders and Mouse wheel over frequency only moves the frequency 100 Hz regardless of what number (kHz, MHz) my mouse pointer is over at the time. My apologies but in FLRig (again the only thing I can compare to) allows hovering over any number and scrolling to adjust that number. I hope that my ramblings make sense. Thank you so far I am liking this very much.
Also, is there a way to set "clicking on a band" to a specific frequency? as an example, I like to "spin the dial" and and so it would be helpful, to me at least, to click the 40M button and have it come in @ 7.175 (the beginning of my general privileges).
BTW, is this the best place for comments/suggestions?
TIA,
