A few thoughts. If you’re keeping the black appliances (which will look good with the counter) and the sink is black, perhaps updating the tap and cabinet handles in black will help unify the look. The handles are pretty dated and it’ll make it look more contemporary. Also, have you considered having the cabinets refaced? I’m looking into this for my kitchen - they take the doors and paint them and then come in and do all the boxed and trim.
